    Astronautalis - DANCEHALLHORNSOUND!!!!

Here's to the curious mind; the ones who have yet to be blessed with Astronautalis's music; the ones who have somehow found themselves here on this shitty blog from the mess we call the internet.

Paid $5 for this, I'm going to share it all I want.

    Bike For Three!

Anticon bullshit but still pretty decent, beats were surely badass. Buck 65 leaves me impressed, yet again.

    Carissa's Wierd - Songs About Leaving (2002)

    Required listening here.

Sad music for sad people. These guys are so depressed they don't give a fuck, just look they don't even spell check their own name. This is lights off listening.

Seagull Screaming Kiss Her Kiss Her - Red Talk (2002)

"What started with a girl humming and singing on a tape recorder quickly turned into one of the most prominent bands in the Japanese underground scene. The original members of Seagull Screaming Kiss Her Kiss Her were Aiha Higurashi (Vocal and Guitar) and Sachiko Ito (Bass). They had no past musical experience, and didn’t know much about playing their instruments, but they went on playing some shows anyway."

This here is a compilation album put out around the time of the bands split. It contains some of their best material followed by some of their not-so-best material. I'll be uploading more of these girls in the future but this should be enough to get your feet wet. Honestly this shit is hard to find so get it while you can.

192 'cause it's so fucking hard to find.

    Asobi Seksu - Rewolf (2009)

One more inb4 wtfyourface posts. I don't fucking understand how this album was released without my knowledge. It angers me that none of my so called "friends" informed me of this albums existence. Fucking ACOUSTIC seksu.

    Download it. 320.

    Radical Face - Ghost

"Ghost is a concept album based on the idea of houses retaining stories of things that have happened in them. Each song is a story and some of the stories are told from the house's point of view. Cooper cited an old house he lived in as one of the inspirations for Ghost. Most of his work on the album was conducted in an old tool shed behind his house."

BETTER FUCKING LISTEN TO THIS. Pretty convincing? Excellent.
    shitty VBR

So this is my first post, w/e. I will try my best to update, but alas, I can't promise that I will ever be able find time away from my beloved kitchen.

Devendra Banhart - What Will We Be (2009)

    "I know I look high
    But I'm just free dancing"

This dropped the end of last month. I'm just now giving it a listen because recently I haven't really been feeling freak folk. Which is perfect it turns out, it seems as if Banhart has moved away from freak folk a bit with this release. There's some really nice sounds on this album and it's nice to see him taking a different direction in his music.

If anyone asks I'll upload more DB.

Letting Up Despite Great Faults - S/T (2009)

“Bashfully bittersweet shoegaze from Los Angeles that wear their hearts on every inch of their body…the sort of dreamy indie pop that boys want to make and girls want to fall in love with with synths that ooze romance, guitar lines straight out of New Order’s Power, Corruption & Lies and vocals that provide as much warmth as a bearskin rug by an open fire.”

Aight, I guess I'll be the one to take this blogs post virginity. I most likely will not be making clever comments/comparisons/reviews and such in my future posts here, I'm just not that creative and I cbf. I will however (hopefully) be delivering some quality music you may not have heard before.

So I found these guys a couple days ago and I really been digging them. Think Radio Dept + M83.

Get (sorry for the shitty AAC)
